3D export (STL, 3MF, glTF)
| Format | What it's for |
|---|---|
| STL | 3D printing. Pure geometry, no colors |
| 3MF | 3D printing with colors |
| glTF | Display and further processing, for example in Blender |
STL and 3MF are in a solid's context menu under Export, glTF under File ▸ Export ▸ glTF. The glTF entry in the context menu writes the file out without a dialog.
Check the dimensions in the dialog before you print.

Binary – no color is the normal case. The two color variants are two incompatible interpretations of an unofficial extension; you will have to try which one your slicer understands. For color, 3MF is the better route.
3MF: multi-color printing
The 3MF export dialog.
A slicer does not assign filaments to a triangle's color, but to parts of an object or to a painted surface. That is why the color mode decides whether it sees your colors:
| Color mode | |
|---|---|
| Standard 3MF materials | the standard, and the default. Viewers show the colors, Bambu Studio and OrcaSlicer do not read them |
| One filament per part | each solid becomes a part with its own filament. The most reliable way, when each color is its own solid |
| Painted per triangle | the color sits as paint on the surface. Needed when one solid carries several materials |
How to tell you have the right mode
If Mixed-material triangles shows 0 and each color is its own solid, use One filament per part. Otherwise, Painted per triangle.
Distinct colors (filaments) counts how many filaments the print needs.
Before downloading, Raily repairs the geometry if needed. If that required adding or removing surface, it shows a message — take a look at the result before you print.

You choose whether the camera, lights, and textures go along, and whether everything sits in one
.glb file. Leave Y axis up (glTF convention) on, or the model will lie on its side in the
target program. Sun intensity in lux is meant for Blender.
