Export to Raily 4
Produces a file that Raily 4 can open, for exchanging with someone still using the previous version.
The export loses information
Raily 4 does not know all of Raily 5's element types and properties. The dialog points this out explicitly when it opens: whatever Raily 4 cannot represent is simplified or left out.
How to go about it
- Save your Raily 5 plan first. The export is an additional file, not a replacement — keep working with the original file in Raily 5.
- Export.
Elements that did not exist in Raily 4 are affected most: parametric objects, extrusions, terrain and CSG results.
