Printing
File → Print… (Ctrl+P) prints the plan to scale, spread over several pages if needed, which can then be assembled. What gets printed is whatever sits on visible layers.
- Paper Options: format, orientation, and margins.
- Scale 1:n: enter the factor, for example 1 for a full-size template. Fit on page picks a round value that fits the whole plan onto one page. The dialog shows how many pages that comes to.
- Info box: a title block with plan, author, and description from the plan properties and the scale of this print, in one corner of the assembled plan. Empty fields are left out.
- Export (HTML) writes the same pages to a file that can be printed from any browser.
- Save as PDF writes the same pages to a PDF: at exactly the scale set here and without the header and footer a browser adds when printing. Print the PDF at actual size (100 %), not "fit to page".
The readable blueprint
The Print preset of the display overrides shows center lines and short rail names instead of bedding and sleepers. Hairlines become very fine on a printer; specify a line width for printing.
